Uniform 03:06
I was born in a uniform, Never was told to end this war When they hold me back I shouted and ask for more, I can't decide...anymore Stay right here Vanish away No true choice to be made I was tied to my skin A shade that just can't fit it in Told me to stay strong Even when it's wrong..I can't decide anymore Stay right here Vanish away No true choice to be made You can pray for my soul No one here is in control Way down on my knees And you do what you please I can't decide anymore Stay right here Vanish away No true choice to be made

Don't worry 02:38
Don't worry, You just need to disappear And I'll stay here. I'll cover your steps I'll mask your distress, go and find another place Don't trouble your mind Please take this bag and leave Time will pass And you'll forget Who we were, what we had Don't trouble your mind Please take this bag and leave

Again 03:11
Now, everything seems pretty well Life tuned itself in a loop again Endless circles in the sand Blurry dreams of loneliness And time, is flowing like water Lots of ways to do it better Only one to make me happy All I need is to trust again Just enough to believe again I can't hold the expectation mixing the past and the present choices are facts we won't deny falling down the ridge with a smile All I need is to trust again Just enough to believe again

Falling leaves in the water swirling dance of the hour strong as the wind can blow Drifted high and low emptiness is still emptiness is still Nothing to be noticed the shore is out of sight There's no way back in time Drifted high and low emptiness is still emptiness is still Flowing side by side disappear in the sea Reaching the skyline endlessly Drifted high and low emptiness is still emptiness is still

You're gonna break your chains You're gonna break your chains You're gonna break your chains free You're gonna break your chains free You're gonna burn that prison You're gonna burn that prison You're gonna let it burn in hell You're gonna let it burn in hell They gonna take their last breath They gonna take their last breath Sky will fall upon their heads Sky will fall upon their heads Oh my almighty Lord Oh my almighty Lord Help us find the love we need Help us find the strength in us You're gonna break your chains You're gonna break your chains You're gonna break your chains free You're gonna break your chains free

about

"Free that Music" is the Color Green Third EP.

It's collection of songs that were written over the years at very difficult times, but never recorded - since it required a serious amount of psychological strength to do so.

During 2017, I've met a wonderful crew of musicians, and specifically a young bass guitar player/ producer, Nir Horovitz.
Based on all kind of work he's done, and on a personal level, it was basically decided to give him "carte blanche" to move on to arrange and record the songs.

It was the very first time The Color Green project was opened to external ideas, and the experience was concluded by a generally more polished sound, not resembling any other The Color Green work so far.

The color green France

Michel Sellam is a Franco-Israeli songwriter, electronic music composer and multi-instrumentalist.
In 2002, he put his one-man-band experimental music project together: 'The Color Green'.

It aims to be as self-produced as possible, in a lo-fi home recording manner, pioneering in early 2000s what we call nowadays: 'Do it yourself' music.
